Bulacan gov commends PNP Obando for a job well done

CITY OF MALOLOS – “Continue the good work, congratulations for a job well done.”

These are the words of Bulacan Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado to Bulacan PNP Obando headed by Police Chief Inspector Lorenzo Paynor during their courtesy call last Monday, after their successful operation against two of the most wanted criminals in the province.

He said, lawbreakers should not be cuddled, but be given appropriate punishment instead.

Aside from PCInsp. Paynor, seven other policemen were given commendation, SPO1 Eugenio Aninias, SPO1 Roberto Marquez, PO3 Edgar Tangkengco, PO2 Wilfredo Dizon, Jr., PO2 Eduardo Cabalonga, PO2 Michael Joseph Sales, and PO1 Isagani Soriano.

The suspects who were killed during their encounter with Obando policemen were identified as Bernie Diza of Brgy. Hulo, Obando and Walter Cajanding y Robles of Brgy. Bagna, City of Malolos and a member of Sputnik Brotherhood Inc. were found guilty of murder, robbery, illegal possession of firearms and other drug related cases.

Aside from the commendation, Gov. Alvarado also gave cash incentive. ###
