CITY OF MALOLOS-After a successful day of prayer last year, the Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado will once again unite different religious groups for “Bulacan Day of Prayer Year 2” on February 4, 2013, from 8-10 am at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, this city.

Themed as “Sama-samang Panalangin para sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan” the said solemn ceremony will be attended by religious groups in Bulacan which include the Roman Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo, Jesus is Lord Church, Inter-Faith Bulacan, Cadence, Alliance for Values Formation, Galilee, EIMILIF and United Methodist Church.

“Sa mata ng ating Panginoon, tayong lahat ay Kanyang mga anak, walang Katoliko, walang Iglesia o Born-Again Christian, lahat ay pantay-pantay. Kaya naman sa lahat ng mga Bulakenyo dalangin ko na kayo ay makiisa sa Bulacan Day of Prayer at sama-sama tayong manalangin ng taus-puso para sa ating lalawigan at sa ating bansa,” Alvarado said.

Aside from exhortation, benediction and singing the Day of Prayer’s theme song Lord, Heal our Land, the said religious groups will also have a prayer vigil from 10 am to 10 pm at the Local Governance Center, Hiyas ng Bulacan.

January last year, the first Bulacan Day of Prayer held at Mini-forest, Bulacan Capitol Compound was successfully attended by different religious organizations in Bulacan.###
