Alvarado to receive Golden Globe Award

MALOLOS CITY – Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado will receive a medal of distinction for his outstanding and significant achievements in the field of public service in the upcoming Golden Globe Annual Awards for Outstanding Filipino Achievers on March 22, 2014 at the Centennial A, Ground Ballroom, Manila Hotel.

The recognition will highlight the milestone of success and victory of the awardees over their countless hardship and trials in life that inspires Filipinos to achieve more in their chosen crafts.

“I am honored to be one of the Filipino achievers awardee dahil nare-recognize ‘yung hardwork and efforts ng ating paglilingkod na nagsisilbing inspirasyon na rin ng ibang gustong maglingkod at tumulong sa kapwa,” said Alvarado.

Golden Globe is an award-giving body that recognizes and pays tribute to all Filipino around the world that brought pride and honor to our country.

The other Golden Globe Awardees are personalities in different fields of public service, entrepreneurship, entertainment, journalism, medicine, music, arts and culture.

The annual awards is a joint effort of the Golden Globe Awards Council, National Data Research Examiner and Marketing Services Inc., Philippine Best Companies Inc., Sining at Gabay ng Buhay Foundation Inc., and Sinag News Magazine.###
