CITY OF MALOLOS - Bulacan Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado announces that around 3,900 vacancies are up for grabs in the two Job Fairs to be held tomorrow, Labor Day at the Event Centers of SM City Baliwag and Marilao.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) said that the job fairs under the supervision of the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 3 in partnership with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) will be attended by at least 120 employers for local and overseas jobs.

Participating recruitment agencies come from various industries that include cyber services, banking and finance, service crew jobs and many more.

Prior to this, a pre-registration took place at SM City Baliwag on April 25, 28 and 30 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM and a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) was held on April 28.

Some applicants took advantage of the said early screening to help them process their applications faster before the job fairs happen on May 1.

The PESO reminds the fresh graduates and new entrants to the labor force to bring with them their pre-employment requirements with lots of copies to avail of DOLE’s One-Stop-Shop Services such as NBI and Police Clearances, SSS and PhilHealth Memberships, and issuance of Community Tax Certificate.

“Don’t miss this event wherein you could be matched with productive opportunities as well as possibility to be hired on the spot. If employed, it is expected that we are to be trustworthy. In every occupation there are tasks and duties with which we are entrusted. We must be faithful in all that we do. God expects it of us,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, the PGB in partnership with DOLE has mounted last April 8, 2014 a job fair where out of 1,369 registered applicants, 56 were hired on-the-spot by 69 employers.###
