CITY OF MALOLOS – Thousands of Bulakenyos will once again join hands to unite in prayer and solidarity on September 5, 2014, 3:00 pm at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.

With the theme “Kapayapaan ng Bulacan, Itataguyod ng Pamahalaan at Mamamayan”, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that this prayer rally has been organized in cooperation with the Four Pillars and other Religious groups to ask for the Lord’s guidance, protection, and peace against recent acts of violence in the province.

“We always believe na anumang pagdarasal na bukal sa puso ay dinidinig ng ating Panginoon. Sa mga nangyayari sa ating lalawigan ngayon, kinakailangan na muli tayong tumawag sa ating Panginoon upang tuluyan ng mawala ang ating mga pangamba”, said Alvarado.

More than three thousand participants will join in the activity including the provincial government officials, heads, and employees, government agencies, students, and the PNP.

A Holy Mass will be led by PGB Chaplain Rev. Fr. Gino Herrera to be followed by the singing of worship song, scripture reading, Harmony Prayer, lighting of candle and Panalangin para sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan to be led by all the religious groups .

The singing of the Day of Prayer theme song “Lord, Heal our Land” will conclude the prayer rally.

The first Bulacan Day of Prayer held at Mini-forest, Bulacan Capitol Compound was successfully held in January 2012 and was attended by different religious organizations in Bulacan. ###
