CITY OF MALOLOS – Being a Bulakenyo by heart and blood, Department of Local and Interior Government Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas will join thousands of Bulakenyos in the commemoration of the 116th Anniversary of Malolos Congress on September 15, 2014, 7 a.m. at Barasoain Church as the highlight of the weeklong festivities of the Singkaban Festival 2014.

Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that this celebration will recall and boost the understanding of the Bulakenyos on the significance of the revolutionary congress of Malolos which played a significant role in our country’s struggle for freedom.

Daniel Fernando, representatives of the districts of Bulacan and Mayor Christian Natividad will lead the wreath laying ceremony at the statue of Gen.
