Bamboo, ready to rock Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS – Filipino musician, singer and ‘King of Rock’ Bamboo Mañalac, popularly known as ‘Bamboo’ is all set to give thousands of Bulakenyos a night of rock, jazz and blues music on the Globe Night to be held on September 10, 2015 at the Bulacan Sports Complex in this city.

Bamboo is currently a judge on The Voice of the Philippines and is billed as “The voice that rocked our world.”

Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said the free concert aims to inspire and give entertainment to Bulakenyos as well as enliven the celebration of Singkaban Festival 2015.

“Ang concert po na ito ay libre para sa lahat ng Bulakenyo kung kaya naman inaanyayahan ko kayong lahat na manood at sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang masaya at makulay na Singkaban Festival”, the governor said.

Prior the main act, Bulakenyo local bands including Blind Stereo Moon, Ice Cream Project, Stellar, Deuterium and Davo Project among others will conquer the stage to showcase their talents.

According to Globe, sponsor of the said concert, being part of Singkaban Festival celebration has always been a pleasure and they are looking forward to more years of partnership with Bulacan.

After the concert, the Pasiklaban sa Singkaban will immediately follow at 9 pm to show the best pyrotechnics of Bulacan, thus adding color and glitz to the festivity.

Meanwhile, the governor reminds those who will attend the event to stay safe and keep the peace and orderliness for a happier celebration of the festival.
