CITY OF MALOLOS - The new king and queen of Bulacan will be crowned as the gorgeous men and beautiful women compete in the Gabi ng Koronasyon ng Hari at Reyna ng Bulacan 2015 on September 13, 7:00 pm at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.

Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that the candidates will not only showcase their good looks in the pageant but also their talents and intelligence in answering the questions of the judges.

“Ako po’y nanininiwala na ang mga kabataang ito ay maaaring makatuwang ng pamahalaan upang i-promote ang ating makasaysayan at makulay na kultura at tradisyon, gayundin ay makatulong upang palakasin ang eco-tourism sa lalawigan,” the governor said.

According to Dr. Eliseo Dela Cruz, head of the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (PHACTO), there are 24 official candidates from different towns and cities who will showcase their skills and talents to get the title as the new Hari at Reyna 2015.

The candidate who will be named Reyna ng Bulacan will automatically become the official representative of the province in the Binibining Pilipinas and will receive trophy, sash and cash incentive.

Meanwhile, the runners-up will represent the province in the Miss World Philippines, Miss Earth Philippines, Festival Queen and Miss Island Philippines and will bring home cash prizes, trophy and sash.

Prior to this, the contestants wowed the crowd with their talents and poise during the Talent Competition held last August 23, 2015 and Formal Wear Competition last August 30 at the Event Center in Robinsons Malolos.

The competition is made possible by the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the PHACTO in cooperation with the Ginoo at Binibining Bulacan Charities Inc.
