Beatboxer from Malolos wins 'Bulacan's Got Talent'

CITY OF MALOLOS – The vocal percussionist from Malolos City who showcased his amazing talent in beat boxing was hailed as the Bulacan’s Got Talent 2015 grand winner during the open talent competition dubbed as “Search for Bulacan’s Got Talent” held yesterday at the MACC Gymnasium, Guiguinto, Bulacan as part of the weeklong celebration of Singkaban Festival 2015.

The champion named Perrie Pagdanganan who mimicked different musical instruments and up-beat songs received trophy and cash prize worth P20,000.

Also from Malolos City, the magician ventriloquist Marvin Arquero who was one of the quarter finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 bagged the second place for his impressive umbrella magic tricks while the 8-year old singing boy Ernmar Montefalcon from Bocaue won the third place for his beautiful rendition of ‘Sayang na Sayang’ by Aegis.

Both of them received trophies and cash prizes worth P15,000 and P10,000 respectively.

Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado congratulated the winners and commended their impressive talents that continue to serve as an inspiration to other Bulakenyo artists who wanted to be discovered.

“Patuloy sanang magsilbing inspirasyon ang mga kalahok at nagwagi sa kumpetisyon sa iba pang mga talentadong Bulakenyo na nagnanais na makilala dahil sa kanilang mahusay na talento. Buo ang suporta ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa mga Bulakenyong patuloy na nagmamalas ng angking kakayahan sa anumang larangan at hindi tayo magsasawa na sila ay ipagmalaki at ikarangal sa buong bansa,” Alvarado said.

Entertainment reporter from ABS-CBN Jobert Sucaldito, Bulakenyo artists Angelita Cabrera and Robert Stephen Biadoma served as the judges and expressed their amazement to the talented participants.

The said talent search was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office and Association of Tourism Officers of Bulacan.
