Bulacan exhibits a pigeon, chicken show

CITY OF MALOLOS - The Provincial Government of Bulacan invites the Bulakenyos to take a peek of the “Bulacan Fancy Pigeon and Chicken Show Exhibit” that will run from September 12-13, 2015, 8am - 5pm at the Mini Forest in this city.

The Bulacan Independent Breeders Association (BIBA) headed by its president Allan Carangan and Bulacan Bantam Association (BBA) headed by Ricky Carangan under Philippines Fancy Pigeon Federation empowered by EDC Farm will spearhead the conduct of the said event for bird enthusiasts.

According to Carangan, a fancy chicken exhibit and a fancy pigeon competition for 200 kinds of birds with at least 30 to 40 breeds will be held on September 12 while the fancy chicken show and competition will be held the next day.

After showcasing the beautiful images of birds in all shapes and sizes, winners will receive a trophy and certificates of participation.

Gov. Wilhelmino M Sy-Alvarado said that Bulakenyos should not miss the activity because it also highlights the promotion of animal welfare and organizers will discuss the know-how about bird breeding.

Meanwhile, a show dubbed as “Bulacan Events Expo” (Kasalan at Okasyon) will be held at Robinsons Place Malolos at 6:00 in the evening from September 12-14, 2015.

The said expo brings together all selections of quality wedding dresses of the province and features different occasions being celebrated in Bulacan.

Moreover, the Samahang Pangkasaysayan ng Bulacan (SAMPAKA) will hold a Kumperensiya sa Bulacan 2015, an open forum on the history of Bulacan to be participated by Social Studies teachers on September 13-15 from 8 am to 5 pm at Balagtas Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center.
