Also, DOST Regional Director Dr. Victor Mariano graced the event and lauded the quality of Bulakenyo products and its continuous pursuit for innovation and effectiveness.

According to Provincial Agriculturist Ma. Gloria Carrillo, they had already evaluated the qualifiers for this program to make sure that the poor farmers and fishermen will profit from it.

“We also hold orientations regarding the technological updates in agriculture to help them to become more productive,” added Carrillo.

Also, there was an exhibit of modern machineries and farm implements in front of the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

In holding Araw ng Magsasaka at Mangingisda, Alvarado hopes that this will serve as a great venue for Bulakenyo farmers and fishermen to aspire to become entrepreneurs and leaders in their respective communities. ###
