PDC Techno Park Opens for IT-BPO Business

“The newly established PDC Techno Park is now available to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Centers, Call Centers, Medical Transcription Centers and other IT related business”, declared Mark Silverio Dee, Consultant of Pilipinas Development Corporation that manages the Techno Park.

Located in 8.5 hectare Mahogany Compound in Barangay Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan, PDC Techno Park is a PEZA accredited IT Park which boasts of several buildings with 3 hectare gross floor area designed for IT-BPO businesses.

“The park was originally applied as IT building but Director General Dr. Lilia B. de Lima of PEZA advised us to have it register as IT Park”, said Dee.

The area exceeds the minimum requirement of 5 hectares with two existing buildings and has a developed open space for future expansion.

Dee described the area with uninterrupted power and dependable water supply. Utilities are installed underground for efficiency and unobstructed view. It has its own ample parking area for safety and convenience of its clientele. A 24-hour security and clean, well-lit surroundings for easy navigation is also provided. Broadband service is available with redundant high bandwidth telecommunication pipeline, which serves as the international gateway for the PDC Techno Park.

A retail shop, convenience stores, coffee shops and a restaurant are being planned for immediate construction as part of the PDC information technology park.

“Our company is now conducting free intensive call center training to first batch of 52 aspiring agents in the locality” said Dee. “Expecting to employ more than 2000 San Rafaelenos, the center will continue to train agents in preparation for the arrival of IT-BPO locators” he added.
