CITY OF MALOLOS— More than 100, 000 Bulakenyos benefited in the employment program of the Provincial Government of Bulacan for the past three years.

He also explained that through the investment servicing and facilitation support to 51 big ticket and medium-sized investors, the province’s worth of investments increased to more than seven billion pesos which resulted to more job opportunities for Bulakenyos.

He also cited that the provincial government is continuously supporting the cooperatives and micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the province through the “Tulong ni Gob.

Alvarado added that Bulakenyo farmers and fisher folks also gained higher profits through the agricultural engineering support such as small-scale irrigation facilities and pre and post harvest facilities given by the government which amounts to a total of P93 million.

He also reported that more than P11 million worth of tilapia fingerlings (more than 16 milion pieces) and bangus fry (more than 12 million pieces) were given to fisher folks in the province through the cooperation of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resource (BFAR).
