He also emphasized the big role that breastfeeding mothers have in the nutrition of their children.

Aside from putting up a breastfeeding station inside the Capitol building, a search for outstanding mothers was launched which awarded Camille Aquino of the town of Bulakan as the winner of 2013 Mutya ng Breastfeeding.

Flores, as the guest speaker of the culminating program, lauded the winners for their efforts to help reduce the malnutrition rate in their communities.

She also cited the notable low percentage of malnutrition in Central Luzon particularly in Bulacan but continuous fight against hunger is still very crucial. ###
