Alvarado continues to gear Bulakenyos towards progress
Monday, 06 January 2014
This was the message of Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado during the first Monday flag raising ceremony for January 2014 held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.
Alvarado said time flies so fast that is why it’s better to plan and think wisely for the things that need to be done this year.
“We have to plan and set our priorities in life kung saan kailangang gawin natin ang pinakamagaling na magagawa natin; pangalawa, kailangang magdasal at magbasa ng bible dahil kailangan ng guidance; pangatlo ay accept the will of God”, the governor added.
The governor’s seven-point agenda has materialized because of his belief that progress will be achieved through good governance.
Alvarado also encourages the Bulakenyos to leave the past behind and start the year with a positive outlook in life. He said that it is now time to accomplish what has to be done not only for themselves but also for the province and the country.
The governor also seeks for his department heads’ supports as well as the support of other local government officials.
Moreover, the provincial local chief executive reminded again the employees to always serve with a big smile, be courteous in dealing with the public and to increase the tax collection for this year so that more projects will be launched for the Bulakenyos. ###
