Sta. Maria District Hospital

In the year 1956, by virtue of Republic Act 1600, the pioneer hospital in the 2 nd District of Bulacan was established. This became a realization thru the kind efforts of then Congressman ROGACIANO M. MERCADO, Governor ALEJO SANTOS, Mayor RICARDO G. NICOLAS, and Dr. ANTONIO RODRIGUEZ, the Executive Officer of the Bureau of Hospitals.
The lot which had a total land area of 14,155 square meters was purchased from Dr. Francisco Gonzales, and is situated along the main road of Jose Corazon de Jesus St. , near the new municipal building of Sta. Maria.

STA. MARIA EMERGENCY HOSPITAL , as it was initially called, provides medical and health services through low cost medical treatment and consultation to a catchment area that includes 6 municipalities, namely: Bocaue, Marilao, Meycauayan, Norgzagaray, Pandi, and Sta. Maria.
