POLICY RESEARCH
The TESDA BOARD
As the Authority's highest policy-making body, the TESDA Board is primarily responsible for the formulation of continuing, coordinated and fully integrated technical education and skills development policies, plans and programs. One of its core functions is to approve and promulgate training regulations for different occupations.
The composition of the TESDA Board reflects the public -private partnership that operates in the technical education and skills development system. The Board has 20 members with the majority (12) coming from the private sector: four from industry, six from labor and two from private TVET institutions.
TESD COMMITTEES
