REGIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTER – GUIGUINTO
The TESDA Regional Skills Development Center in Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan, formerly National Manpower and Youth Council – Regional Manpower Training Center (NMYC-RMTC) was established in 1976 in response to the growing need for skilled manpower of the developing industries in the region.
RSDC Guiguinto aims to equip out-of-school youths and unemployed adults with skills along industrial courses, thereby enhancing their chances for employment. Training programs in the Center include basic skills training, skills upgrading courses, trainors training and other special training programs.
RSDC Guiguinto is headed by its Training Center Chief, Eng. Rolando San Juan and assisted by Mr. Augusto Santos. An efficient support staff takes care of the administrative operations while a team of competent experts act as instructors/trainers.
Who are our clients?
A. For Basic Skills Training Programs (BSTP)
- Out-of-school youths and unemployed adults
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate
- Of good moral character
B. For Skills Upgrading Training Programs (SUTP)
- Basic skills training graduate
- Prospective and returning overseas workers
- With at least 6 months work experience
C. For Training Training Programs
- Vocational/technical trainer/instructor
- Industry training officer/supervisor/foreman
- BSE/BSIE graduate or other technical course
What are the requirements for training?
A. BSTP
- Birth certificate (Xerox copy)
- Barangay/police clearance
- Proof of educational attainment
- Two pcs ID picture
B. SUTP
- Certificate of employment
- 2 years work experience
- NC l or equivalent
