CITY OF MALOLOS – Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado declares July 28 a special non-working day in Bulacan.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 837 “Declaring Monday, 28 July 2014, as a Special (Non-Working) Day in the Province of Bulacan” issued by Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. on July 24, 2014.

The said proclamation was made to allow an orderly exit of INC members from the venue of its centennial celebration in the province.

Around 1.5 million members of the INC will be attending their anniversary celebration while more than 10,000 buses and 2,800 vans are expected to ferry the delegates on Sunday, July 27 at the recently inaugurated Philippine Arena in Bocaue.

Moreover, the Metropolitan Development Authority, organizers, and local authorities expect the buses and vans to completely transport all the delegates out of the venue by Monday, July 28.

In advance, the North Luzon Expressway had advised motorists to reschedule their trips to avoid being trapped in an expected heavy traffic. ###
