“Marahil noong nakaraan, hindi ganoong katatag ang mga plano, but this time, umaayon po ang mga pangyayari and little by little, we will be strengthening the responsibilities of RDC at makikita po natin na sa pamamagitan nito ay lalong magkakaroon ng kaunlaran ang ating region. And we are not talking for one province in particular but the entire region,” the RDC III chairman said.

Alvarado also said that RDC III with the help of the Department of Transportation and Communications is expected to provide an alternative land transport mode that will directly link Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Clark International Airport that will be one of the catalysts for development of the whole Central Luzon.

The council also discussed the plans and early implementation of the road projects such as the construction of Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) Phase II in Nueva Ecija, the rehabilitation of roads leading to ecotourism sites of Zambales and the long-term solutions to address perennial flood in the region.
