CITY OF MALOLOS - The Provincial Government of Bulacan is investing in the future of Sangguniang Kabataan Officials in the province by giving them trainings that will hone them to become better leaders in the coming years.

During the “Tomorrow Global Leaders’ Camp Bulacan Youth Fellowship” held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here today, former Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Atty. Francis Tolentino, the guest speaker, said that Bulakenyo youths are lucky to be living in Bulacan because they are living in a progressive province that receives awards and citations while others are still on the planning stage.

He also encouraged the youths to double their dreams and include the desire to be of help to their province.

Sharing how important the youth are, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado underscored the significant role of the youth in nation building.

For his part, Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando thanked the youths for accepting the challenge of being servant leaders.

During the program, Alvarado and International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Philippines President Kyung Hyun Nam signed the Memorandum of Understanding on being partners in conducting projects regarding youth development in Bulacan.

In relation to this, Dr. Gyu Yeun Cho, Russian Regional Director from the International Mind Education Institute, IYF, discussed three mind education lectures about bringing change and being a youth leader with a heart.

In his lectures, he shared how the Koreans overcome poverty after the war that can also help the Philippines like having a powerful leadership, self-control for contentment and having a strong mind.

Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito and Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos were also present to support the event.
