CITY OF MALOLOS—The Provincial Government of Bulacan through Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO) launched the “Para sa Kalikasan at Kasaysayan” familiarization tour at Biak-na-Bato national park yesterday.

One of the organizers of the said event Mr. Jo Clemente of Arte Bulakenyo Foundation, Inc., led a group of Bulacan media people on the different scenic spots within the Biak-na Bato park and reservation area.

Aiming to update the media people on the current situation of the picturesque national park, the group visited the Aguinaldo and Madlum caves and the hanging bridge.

In addition to this, the group was also accompanied by Bulakenya contestants of Miss Earth-Philippines like Beverlyn Alquiros for a photo shoot.

“Para makita din ng mga tao na ‘di lang mayaman sa magagandang dilag ang Bulacan kundi lalo na sa mga tourists spots tulad ng Biak-na-bato,” Clemente said.

Aside from the historic national park, the home of the 1897 Biak-na-Bato republic is also an ideal environment exploration with forest, rivers, and mountains like Susong Dalaga, Mt. Mabio and Mt. Silid. ###
