Alvarado supports Bulacan business sector

CITY OF MALOLOS- Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado will welcome the delegates of the 20th North Luzon Area Business Conference as he gathers them in the Governor’s Night at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center today at 7:00 p.m.

“Being the host province of this year’s conference, we would like to show them the business opportunities in Bulacan. Also, we are very supportive to their endeavors that will contribute to the progress of the province and its people,” said Gov. Alvarado.

Carrying the theme “Accelerating Economic Development through Public Private Partnerships,” all local chambers of commerce and industry in the Northern Luzon Area will converge on August 11-12 at St. Agatha Resort in Guiguinto.

Moreover, Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, Jr. will grace the event to give recognition to the importance of the business sector in the country’s development.

According to Violeta Luna, president of Bulacan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc., the conference aims to consult counterpart economic movers from the private business sector on their specific propositions to government that will help boost the economic growth of their respective regions.

“In this way, the flow of developmental funds from government and investments from the private sector are not concentrated in the urban areas. The opportunity for economic growth is rationally planned. Through the area business conference, even the voice of the small businesses in the countryside are heard. The area business conferences have effectively mobilized economic development in the countryside,” said Luna.
