Bulacan to hold "Bisikleta" fund drive for victims of Typhoon Pablo

CITY OF MALOLOS- The Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado will hold a fund raising drive dubbed as “Bisikleta para sa mga biktima ng bagyong Pablo” on January 12, 2013.

Alvarado said that the fund drive under the Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (PYSEACTO) will raise more funds and donations for Pablo’s victims and will inculcate as well among Bulakenyos the spirit of “Bayanihan” and care to those who needs help.

“Noong ang ating lalawigan ang nasalanta ng bagyo at baha ay tinulungan din tayo ng mga kababayan natin sa iba’t-ibang lalawigan sa Visayas at Mindanao kaya marapat lamang na damayan din natin sila sa panahon ng kanilang pangangailangan,” the governor said.

Benjamin Santos, Youth Development Officer II of PYSEACTO, said that everybody can help and join the “bikaton” by sharing P100 registration fee.

Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the villages of the historic capital city of Malolos and win exciting raffle prizes.
