Alvarado sets plans for road improvements in Bulacan
Friday, 16 August 2013
CITY OF MALOLOS –Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado expressed his vision to maximize the potentials of Bulacan in making it a premier province of the country primarily through the development of road networks.

Alvardo said, in his speech during the 435th Bulacan Foundation Day, that the province is the gateway to the north, either by air, land or water; travelers must pass through Bulacan before they could reach any places in the north.

He added that some of the development plans include the 7 km Malolos-Hagonoy By-pass road, 65 km North Luzon East Alignment, 40 km San Jose Del Monte City- Dingalan Hi-way, 16 km Balagtas-Angat Area Expansion, 34 km coastal Hi-way, Metro Rail Transit Line 7, and First Fish Port and Ferry Services.

The governor also mentioned the recently launched “One Bulacan PRIDE” or Program for Rapid Industrialization of Bulacan that positions various programs in the development plans of the province.

Alvarado, together with Vice Governor Daniel Fernando, members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan and mayors of local government units, led the unveiling ceremony which marks the start of the month-long celebration of Singkaban Fiesta, the mother of all festivals in Bulacan. ###
