Meanwhile, Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that it is only through this dance competition that the ‘old and new’ era of dancing come together.

“Dito natin makikita ang sayaw noong araw at sayaw ngayong modernong panahon. Napakalaki ng difference, napakalaki ng ipinagbago ng mundo. Dito naipamalas ang galing hip hop man o folk dance,” Fernando said.

As for hip-hop dance choreographer Shane Khevin Selisana of Young TG, he is hopeful that young Bulakenyos like them will continue to pursue their dreams and to never give up despite facing challenges along the way.

“Maraming challenges talaga ang aming hinarap. Masasabi ko na lang sa mga kabataan na ‘wag sumuko kahit ano mang maging problema at magtiwala sa sarili, siyempre pati sa Poong Maykapal,” Selisana said.
