CITY OF MALOLOS – Twenty-five heads of charitable institutions could not be any prouder as they watched their little angels performed their best during the Showcase of Talents ng mga Anghel sa mga Institusyon held at Valencia Hall in Bulacan State University here today.

Children of different ages performed their hearts out through singing, dancing, interpretative song and dance, role playing, group oration and poem recital.

Franz Nicole Bautista from Casita Pag-asa Orphanage in Santa Maria, Bulacan said that she was very happy to mingle with other angels and perform in front of many people.

Lolita Chua, Executive Director of Child’s Faith Foundation Inc., from the City of San Jose del Monte shared how amazed she was seeing the children showcasing their talents.

“First time nangyari ‘to at nakakahanga talaga ‘yung mga bata.

Maribel Blanco, Assistant Regional Director for Administration, DSWD-Region III, delivered the message of Regional Director Marites M. Maristela, the event’s guest speaker.

“Yung mga ganitong gawain ng pamahalaan ay nagbibigay ng pagkakakilanlan na mapalabas ‘yung creativity ng mga bata and affirms the rights of the children to join this kind of event. Sa lahat ng house parents at directors, congratulations po at napalaki n’yo ng maayos ang mga batang ito,” Blanco said while commending Bulacan for being awarded the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance.

Each institution received a certificate of participation and cash donation.
