CITY OF MALOLOS- Bulakenyos can now look forward to international outlet stores, shopping mall, techno hub, factory outlets, industrial factories, warehouse and call centers in their own land as Bulacan top officials headed by Governor Daniel R. Fernando inked the Bulacan Mega City project in their recent trip to Hunan, China.

The soon-to-rise 400-hectares Bulacan Mega City that will be situated in three municipalities of the province including Pandi, Bocaue and Balagtas is expected to create 100,000 jobs for the Bulakenyos.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando believed that their trip to China was very productive because they were able to exchange knowledge, which will be beneficial for Bulacan and Hunan.

“Both provinces, Hunan and Bulacan, have innumerable potentials both in natural and human resources. Through the sisterhood agreement signed by the two parties, we will make sure that both sides will benefit and the friendship is for the greater good,” Bulacan governor said.

He added that with the upcoming Mega City, Bulakenyos can soon enjoy the luxury of life without leaving their beloved province.

“Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, hindi na natin kailangang bumiyahe ng malayo sapagkat dito sa sarili nating bayan ay tiyak na marami na tayong mapupuntahan. Tiyak na tayo pa nga ang dadayuhin at babalikan kaya sigurado ang pag-unlad ng ating lalawigan,” Fernando said.

The governor together with Pandi Mayor Enrico Roque, Third District Representative Lorna Silverio, Provincial Planning and Development Office Head Arlene Pascual, Provincial Agriculturist Ma. Gloria Carrillo and Provincial Cooperative Enterprise and Development Office Head Cynthia Abiol was welcomed by Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang, Loudi Mayor Yang Yi Wen and Chinese investors and businessmen in their three-day trip to China.

The Bulacan Mega City together with the Bulacan International Airport are just few of the upcoming projects that are expected to contribute to the province’s developing economy.
